Portuguese wines are the result of a succession of traditions introduced in Portugal by the successive civilizations. Portugal has the oldest appeal system in the world, the demarcated Douro region. This region, among others, such as Vinhos Verdes, in the northwest of Portugal, is a geographically well-located coastal region for the production of excellent white wines. We should also highlight the Dão region, located in the interior of central Portugal, which is one of the regions that produces wine with greater aging capacity. As for the Alentejo region, we have fresh and aromatic whites and intense, full-bodied reds.
